GRI Table

In preparing the HSBC Sustainability Report 2007, we have taken into account the feedback we received from stakeholders throughout the year and from specific stakeholder engagement workshops we held in early 2008. In addition to the main issues raised by stakeholders, we also consulted the Global Reporting Initiative's (GRI) indicators to determine material issues not addressed by stakeholder feedback.

We have worked with Corporate Citizenship in preparing the GRI table for the HSBC Sustainability Report 2007. Corporate Citizenship is a leading consultancy in sustainability and corporate responsibility issues with particular expertise and experience in the philosophy, best practice and standards of reporting.  Corporate Citizenship has worked with HSBC for a number of years both on reporting and on innovation within HSBC's community investment programme.
