HSBC Bank plc opened a branch in Amsterdam in September 1999 as part of a pan-European initiative to meet the payments and cash management requirements of its top-tier Dutch and multinational corporate and institutional clients.
Payments and Cash Management
HSBC offers a comprehensive range of domestic and regional cash management services to its global and regional corporate and institutional clients. It is a direct member of TOP and INTERPAY (Netherlands’ high- and low-value payment and clearing systems), TARGET and SWIFT, providing clients with the most efficient routes for making domestic and cross-border payments.
As well as the more traditional range of corporate accounts and payment services, all of which are delivered through Hexagon, the HSBC Group’s electronic banking system, HSBC Bank also offers more complex liquidity management services, including pooling and cash concentration (subject to legal and regulatory constraints).
In addition to fully trained staff located in Amsterdam, a dedicated customer help desk has been established in London to act as a single point of contact for our global payments and cash management clients for all day-to-day issues and queries. This European Payments Operation works in close partnership with the team in Amsterdam to ensure the delivery of a consistent and high-quality service to our top-tier corporate clients across Europe.
